A quick google for "viavoice linux" turns up
http://www.ecn.purdue.edu/~laird/Linux/ViaVoice/ although it dates to 2001.
Install instructions for SuSE 8.1 can be found at
http://volker.dnsalias.net/linux/vv/viavoice-SuSE8.1.html and some more good
stuff at http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=6383
After you install viavoice you'll need this: http://xvoice.sourceforge.net/
Ton of other links there too - most probably useless, but others may be worthwhile.
