Hi,

I've recently installed a copy of SuSE9 on my system. So far I'm very
impressed with it, and feel it is better for me than Mandrake, which I
have been using for a couple of years now. The only problem I appear to
be getting is when I play mpegs and avi files. The sound is perfect, but
it does not display the image, and all I get is a blue screen in the
window.

As far as I can tell, all the multimedia packages have been installed, so
I can't see what the problem is. Is there some codec packages that i've
missed somewhere, that would is not listed under the multimedia tree in
the software installer?

Any suggestions would be very greatfully received.

Thanks
