I've just installed a network between a desktop and a laptop. I've got
maskerading going and, ssh rsynch between the the two. I'd like to get the
laptop to use the leafnode on the desktop, at the moment any requests from
Knode on the laptop result in "leafnode[32336]: refused connect from
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" (my Xs).

I assume this is a permissions thing. How do I give the laptop (say
fred@laptop) permission to be part of the news group on the desktop. Do I
have to use NIS, which seems overkill, or is there a simpler solution?
