[x86 SuSE 8.2]
I want to be able to upgrade/install sw packages with yast2
from a suse ftp server. I'm inside a firewall with proxy ftp.
What combination of proxy and ftp URL settings do I need?
I tried:
export ftp_proxy=http://llproxy:8080
yast2
change source of installation
add ftp
servername-> 195.135.221.130 [i.e. ftp.suse.com]
directory on server -> pub/suse/i386/update/8.2/
but I keep getting:
Unable to create installation source
from URL ftp://195.135.221.130/pub/suse/i386/update/8.2/
Error(InstSrc:E_no_instsrc_on_media)
Is there some other way the proxy has to be specified?
It's also not really clear to me what directory level needs to be
given here.
