Some progress, but not completely. I changed the ntfs label to vfat in
drive E:, and the drive was promply mounted, and the "w" for root and
user appeared for all files. But Word Perfect still thinks they are
read-only files, and will not allow any changes. I will copy some files
to my other fat32 drive, to see if the same thing happens.
