Hi,
While booting I get message:
Kernel Panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:42
Can't guess why:(
Root fs is /dev/hdb2 (reiser fs).
In /etc/fstab I have line:
/dev/hdb2 / reiserfs defaults 1 1
I used reiserfsck. Seems ok.
I noticed that before I had got that message about kernel panic I had
had about 4.0 kb free on /dev/hdb2. When I restarted the system - kernel
panic.
Now there is about 56Mb free on /. Didn't help...
Could that be the matter? Should I free more space? Can I somehow get my
system back or do I have to reinstall it?
Best regards,
Solar
