Hallo,
I'm engaged in administration of several PC's running SUSE 8.2.
On "/" I addes some subdirectories e.g. /data1 and so on.
These subdirectories I use as mount-points for nfs filesystems.
On the computer which receives the directories (host2) I have the
following line in /etc/fstab :
host1:/data1 /data1 nfs bg,soft,rw 0 0
On the computer exporting the directory I have the following line
in /etc/exports :
/data1 192.168.192.90(rw,async)
Where 192.168.192.90 is the IP of host2. My problem is, that the
exported filesystem is only mounted readonly and I don't know why ?
Do I have an error in my sysntax ?
Are there other mechanism which should cause a nfs-directory to mounted ro ?
I hope anyone can help.
Greetings,
Daniel
