Hi NG,
I'm using SuSE9 with aRts. Is it right, that teh precompiled version of
audacity doesn't use aRts?
So it makes problems using it in combination with aRts-using programs.
My problem: I tried to compile audacity with aRts support and got the error
"could not find kde/artsc/artsc.h". My 'artsc.h' is located in
/opt/kde3/include/artsc. So I copied the file to the location which audacity
prefers. It worked.
But now I got the message:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i586-suse-linux/3.3.1/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld:
cannot find -lartsc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [audacity] Fehler 1
Somewhere I read this means audacity couldn't find libartsc.so
This file is located in /opt/kde3/lib. How can I advise audacity where it
have to search?
Thanks for your help,
Jan.
