Well, I know they disclaim that -- and it's always a possibility with
*any* software -- but I used it for over a year with no loss of data
and that was through several versions. The Windows one crashes every
now and then, so I just got used to not keeping it open all the time
(like I do on Linux), and the only thing I "lost" was the read/unread
indication of mails I'd read since last startup.

In fact, the only two email programs I've ever used that lost data
were OE and Eudora. Pegasus and Sylpheed have been rock-solid for me,
but since I've been able to go all-Linux at work recently, I no longer
have to worry about the Windows side of things. I've been pushing for
that at work for several years and the boss finally agrees with me. I
haven't had Windows on any of my boxes at home for four years now and
I sure don't miss the virii . . . :-)
