Yast2 problem

Hi all!

I'm getting frustrated with Yast2. I'm trying out SuSe 9.0 I downloaded it
from ftp.
Anyways, whenever I click on a rpm paggage, there is an option to install it
with Yast2. When I try to do this, Yast asks my root password and checks
for consistancies, but after that nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
