i'm having troubles with suse not booting without a cd. i have tried editing
the boot files several different ways to fix the problems, but it still
won't
do it without the boot cd. in bios, i have floppy, cd(2), hd (or scsi for
sata, i change them sometimes), and boot other devices. floppy spins, the cd
drives are searched and then i get a blinking cursor. i tried to restore the
mbr from when i installed to no avail. any ideas? thanks. kevin.
