I fully agree!
I now use Suse a lot, but still trip up on some silly things, when faced
with some instructions on how to install certain software.
Many people can learn windows quite easily, not just though the time spent
using it, but also because there is always someone to ask.
Apart from this newsgroup, I do not know of anyone else to ask about Suse.
You can only learn so much from a book and Suse automated email response
stating that "you may not even get a reply" is very stupid!
If Suse Linux wants to take off in a big way, then it needs full, idiot
proof instructions for it usage, much like windows has, wizards everywhere I
say! lol
The early windows had big instruction manuals, I know that the latest
windows only have small manuals, but for seasoned users, that is all they
need. It has worked very well for Microsoft, so why not follow suit and
learn from their experience.
