Thank you. Also - I won't be using hotmail (web-based) but the
regular msn (not the msn 9 software!) with pop3 and smtp servers.

I have used it in Windows XP. I like it (although it is not as user
friendly as Office 2000 IMHO.

The hardware comes from Qwest (phone/ISP): Actiontec 1524 Modem
(ASDL), and I will pick up my own Network Interface card. The PPP
protocol in this connection system is PPPoA (A stands for ATM, Qwest
tech tells me).

I believe I will be all right. I hope!

Can I run YAST now, while I have my dialup (to test suse linux) and
RUN IT AGAIN LATER, after I have installed the NIC and DSL modem
(gateway is another term they use)?
