Hello,
I used Windows all the time and in the last 6 months i tried some
distributions. SuSE, RedHat, Fedora and was not very lucky with it,
because there were many things which frustrated me. RedHat ran very
buggy on my Pc.Some hang-ups, and installing programs made me crazy,
because i had to after-install always some libraries, coz i made the
"mistake" and installed RH only as workstation.
On Fedora, i didnt get me Internet to run, so i kicked it.
Now i use SuSe 9.0 and im pretty happy with it. With YaST a newbie is
able to install programs and my knowledge is getting bigger and bigger
from day to day. There are many things, u cant do more comfortable than
on windows and my main reason, why i use linux now is that windows has
holes as big as a cheese of switzerland. I had firewall and antivirus,
but i still got twice this damn virus, which deactivated my antivirus
and firewall. Moreover, the graphical desktop of windows sucks, and
windows is never as comfortable as KDE, but this is my personal opinion.
Im very new to linux, but i can already see the advantages. (Although
there are still some disadvantages for me, Sound doesnt work with flash
plugin yet, and i dunno why, and i didnt get sound on Licq yet, but in
all, i can say, that im sure of linux)

Best regards,
Markus
