I just installed SuSE 9 and I am trying to teach myself Linux. How do
I determine what apps and packages I have installed and what version
of each? (I am coming from a Windows and Netware world.) In
paticular, I want to know what security patches I need to install and
the security list at SuSE indicates what packages are affected but I
cannot tell if they are on my machine or not... IF I need to RTFM,
let me know where and I'll stop using the bandwidth here. TIA
