On Suse 9.0, I ran into the following problems when updating KDE to 3.2:
I am using apt, with the kde repository of the gwdg gtp-server. I deleted
k3b and kopete, had apt to update and then selected the whole bunch of
kde-packages from synaptic. I removed kdebase-suse (resp. kdebase-BILD) and
started synaptic.
Now I am getting this, when apt wants to prepare the kdebase3-3.2.0-7 rpm
for install:
"file /opt/kde3/share/services/ssh.protocol conflicts with file fron package
kdelibs3-3.2.0-27"
My KDE is completely destroyed for now, I can only log in via xdm. I have NO
idea why these 2 packages conflivt with each other, I updated my moms
system 10 days ago without any problems.
Since I can not use Kinternet anymore too, I also have no idea how I can go
online to retry via apt / shell. Does anybody know how to dial into the
internet? I am using ippp with a FritzCard USB 2.0 ISDN network adapter.
Your help is welcome :-)
