I just did a did an online update with Yast which installed an updated
kernal. Because of the new kernal install, one of my old programs won't
run. Does Yast archive the old/existing version of the kernal when it
performs a kernal update? I looked in the /boot directory and I can see
two files, vmlinuz and vmlinuz.shipped, both showing the same size and
same date/time Last Modified. Is the *.shipped file the kernal that
Yast replaced with the update?

Thanks!
