Assuming it's compiled & installed Ok, then on the (KDE) desktop:
right-click/create new link to application then fill in the blanks.
The application should be available on your path so in the 'command' edit
box on the 'execute' tab, type: gmplayer
If you want to verify where it lives then from a console do:
which gmplayer
to return the full path.
