i am using Suse 9.0 with kde 3.2.0 on an athlon 1000 with 512MB Ram.
Now it happened a few times already that the screen froze in KDE when
just moving a window. the keyboard is dead and the screen is frozen, but
the mouse is still moving (but as the icon of moving a window + , and
cant click, just move). The system seems still to work, because i can
log in from my other computer by ssh and reboot it.
This happened now a few times, but i cant get some rule for when it
happens, between i the computer was up some days without any problems.
the only thing which is in common that it happened when moving a window.
i cant find anything special in /var/log/messages

any ideas what could be the problem? any suggestions what i could do to
locate the problem and not just rebooting?

thanks
phran
