Unless you try using whatever doze you have to do a recovery ...
It's not a 9x series so it shouldn't (famous last words) trash your
linux setup - anyway, SuSE can boot the "os on disk" from the CD ...

If you just want to make the ntfs partition into a linux partition (eg
for /home), use linux fdisk to change the partition type to ext2 (can't
remember whether it's 82 or 83), then use mke2fs to format the
partition. Then it's clean and ready to mount ... add it to /etc/fstab
