I did browse the partitions from Knoqueror but did not write anything to
them. I tried to write to the XP32 bt this failed, I assume because there
was not permission to do so.
The 3 Windows partitions were set up by the Windows installer and this was
before Linux was installed. So the boot sequence is this: grub loads and
gives me the choice of Linux, Windows, Floppy and Failsafe. If I choose
Windows I get the window boot menu with the 3 OSs to choose from-as it was
before I installed Suse
