Question on Konqueror Web Browser

I am used to WXP - Netscape which shows the 'lock' symbol in
lower right corner when I do my banking - so that I know the
transaction is encrypted.

I don't see anything like that in Konqueror Web Browser
and so I am not comfortable that my transactions are safe.

How do I know? Do I need to set something?

Thank You
