IF you use DHCP, when you click on "Activate configuration" inside of
Kwifimanager's configuration editor, it will establish a connection BUT it
will not issue a DHCP request. That's why it must be done manually inside
of a Konsole window.
If on the other hand, you're electing to statically issue one, you can go
into YaST, YaST Modules, Networking, Network card, and issue it there.
Then, when you do establish a connection using the configuration editor,
it will already have it's IP address.
I've never used the option to "Execute script on connect", so I can't
speak to that cogently!
Try that and let us know how it went...
