You give absolutely no information then that it does not work. Therefore
it is almost impossible to help.

First make a backup. This does not mean it will go wrong, just that it
can go wrong. You should always make a backup when you want to install.

What SuSE will try to do is make a new partition for Linux. This means
that you should have free space available. There should be no problem
whatsoever.

Remember to have a fat32 partition soewhere, so you can read the files
both in Windows and Linux.

My advise however is to first try out the evaluation CD and if you like
it to buy the 9.1 that will be out very soon. Buy the pro version for
80USD or 80EUR or whatever. That way you will get two very helpfull
books that will guide you trou the first steps in Linux.
