I totally AGREE. All these different Distro's but the core problem is
drivers. I can't get away from WINDOWS and I tried all the distros.
Either scanner problems, or just coping a document from windows to
linux using Open Office didn't work in one of the Distro's.
I am willing to leave games behinds.
Heck, just getting a nice SMALL BUSINESS accounting program in Lindows
would be nice.
I would like to run SUSE, but can't. I am starting to read lots of
places of people trying to escape WINDOWS but can't and go back. This
leaves a bad taste in their mouth about Linux. I am getting one
myself. And I wanted to go SUSE.
good luck on your escape from WINDOWS. Heck, I can't even escape from
a freaking HOTMAIL addy.
