newbie experience story (short)

I have just installed (suse) and am very pleased with it.

I urged a computer user friend - who was passing by - to have a quick
look 'I now have linux'.

I used the browser on a familiar web page. 'Where is linux?' said the
friend. 'This is it!' Oh!

I had not previously *quite* appreciated the full meaning of the saying
'the medium is the message'

I have now.
