Looking at your list, I have to admit I'm glad I'm not the type of guy that
has webcams, or buys M$-only-type printers, uses phone modems, does voice
chat and uses my graphics card to watch TV. If that's the kind of PC user
you are, stick to Windows at this time. For me, the PC is a very useful tool
for building paying websites, email, surfing, keeping records, watching
downloaded movies and listening to downloaded music, and generally
organizing my life. Linux can do all that, and much more.

Oh, and don't forget to contact each of the vendors involved to voice your
dissatisfaction with the lack of Linux support.
