You don't say exactly *where* you get this message, so I'll hazard a
guess that it's when you try to execute the nvidia*.bin program you
downloaded. If so, it's vitally important that you are in the directory
where you stored it and prefix the command with a dot and a slash:

   ./nvidia*.bin (fill in the missing letters/digits)
