i receive that message on kernel 2.6.5 boot up
RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0
RAMDISK: incomplete write (-28 != 32768) 4194304
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on hda7

i saw somewhere i need to enlarge ramsize but i dont know where ...

strange thing is that kernel 2.6.1 and 2.4.x works fine ...
