Suse 9.1 Networking issue

I installed Suse 9.1 Pro without much difficulty. It automatically set up
samba and found my internet connection through my router. I then ran some
updates from the web, and my eth0 settings were lost.

Of course, I could set up the IP address manually, but I'm still unable to
browse the web. It bothers me that this "suddenly" stopped working after
running the internet update routine. I've tried chaning the settings in YaST
several times, and to no avail. It acts like it can't find the DHCP server.

Here's my question: given a windows XP WorkGroup called MSHome, a router
with an IP address 0f 192.168.0.1, how can I get my DHCP address, samba, and
internet working properly again.

Thanks,
Chris
