Hello,

Well, it's fixed I unplugged the machine (just in case it was
a hardware code issue) and rebooted. Still no network.

I started the SUSE Hardware Tool and went down to Network.
It had my network card listed (3Com 3C509B EtherLink III)
listed so I clicked on Details. (I'm doing this again as
I write this so I get it right.)

Under "Details" it said:

  Available? Yes
  Configured? No

(As I write, it STILL says the same thing.)

So I clicked OK, and then "Configure".

Yast opens, I log in as root, and Yast does its thing.
After Yast gets done checking things off, it says:

  ...already configured with DHCP

And my internet access is up and running again, so I'm
posting this from SuSE.

When I go back and look, it still says my network card
is available but not configured.

Sounds like a bug to me.
