activate NFS - ugidd 9.1

Since SuSE changed useriDS in 9.1 starting with 1000 (used to start with
500 in former verions) I get problems conncting to the NFS server.

I added map_daemon to the options of the server and the administration
book suggests to start the daemon "ugidd"

But I cannot find this. Searched SuSEs support database: nothing.

Does anybody know abotu this problem?
