What problems are you getting exactly when trying to connect using nfs?
I would make sure that the nfsd daemon is running, so lsmod and if you dont
see nfsd try modprobe nfsd and connect again. I only have 2 computers
connected via my adsl router/hub and start the nfs server manually as
above. Mkae sure you have valid entries in /etc/fstab
