I've got 9.1 on an IBM Thinkpad X31. It works much better with 9.1 (with
an updated BIOS) because all the acpi stuff is supported. My built-in
IBM 802.11/a/b/g card Just Works where I needed the Linuxant wrapper in
9.0. The ethernet Just Works, too. I don't know about the modem since I
don't use it. The only problems I'm having right now are with Samba,
but that is apparently not machine-specific because lots of other
people are having issues, too.

Bottom line, the Thinkpad runs great with SuSE 9.1 Pro on it; cool and
quiet. It was an easy install.
