HELP!!! I've been using VMware for years, and just upgraded my SuSE 9.0
running 2.6.6 to SuSE 9.1 running SuSE's patched 2.6.4. VMware no longer
runs. Applied update-any-any-68 (was at 55), reinstalled from scratch,
downgraded to gcc 3.3.1, nothing helps.
Symptoms: vmware drivers load with no problem. but running the vmware
executable it immediately exits. (Adding command line switched like "-v"
generates appropriate output, but trying to actually run it, or a config
file for existing installs, does nothing!
vcjones@x23:~> vmware
vcjones@x23:~> vmware -v
VMware Workstation Information:
VMware Workstation 3.2.0 build-2230
Press "Enter" to continue...

Anyone have any ideas what else changed between 9.0 and 9.1 that
could cause this behavior? Better still, does anyone have a solution
to the problem?
