How to find my way in SUSE

I can imagine that people who start with Linux and SUSE do not know what
is what and where to find stuff.

I cabn imagine that it is confusing to find why there is a /bin, /sbin.
/usr/bin, /opt, ~/bin and all the other places.

For those who like to learn:
