New soundcard won't work?

I'm running SuSE9 Prof.

I've just plugged in a Creative Soundblaster Live5.1 soundcard, upgrading
from my onboard CMI8738 chip, that's on the Asus p4s333 board.

The soundcard gets detected by YaST as SBLive! 5.1 Digital Model SB02220,
but setup fails as module snd-emu10k1 can't load.

A module for SBLive should be there? SuSE claims that SBLive cards are fully
supported....

Any hints?
