Hi Scott,

You could put it in the .profile in you home folder.

But try my suggestion first, no need to reboot with it just logout and
back in as you have determined that it is a setting in the KDE startup
which points to the default mixer settings.

I have had to do this with all installs on my SBlive 5.1 for a long
time, the default is for digital output, IIRC on previous versions of
Suse if you adjusted the settings using a mixer they would be
remembered on the next login

But starting with 9.1 it seems that the mixer settings have got to be
explictly saved from the CC as well.
