Same problem here. I have the DLink DWL-G650. It is an 802.11g card based
on the Atheros chipset. It worked fantastic with the 2.4 kernel that was
originally installed with SuSE 9.0, but since upgrading to the 2.6.5-7
kernel, I cannot get it to grab an address from the router via dhcp.

Linux recognizes the card and iwconfig as well as ifconfig shows the
interface come up as ath0, but I can never get it to actually setup the
card and access the router.

I am still playing with it. Hopefully if anyone finds anything with the
wireless issues, they will post them here.
