In my 9.1 config I use 2 normal ATA drives and on a speparate SiI
3112 Controller a SATA drive. This controller has two SATA ports and
can be used as a Raid Controller under Windows. When booting the
machine with SuSe 9.1 Linux the controller is recogized as two separate
controllers. Since only one drive is installled, the system tries to
find a drive at the 'second' controller. This takes about 90 seconds
before the system gives up. Otherwise it's running fine.
How can I avoid the 90 seconds wait time without installing a second
drive?
