suse server (X-less)

searching for experiences of someone who uses suse pro (any version) as
X-less server. especially: router/gateway, firewall, sshd, smtpd.
(i do not speak of the enterprise server.)

how big will the installation get? (discspace)
what about the performance on older PCs? (pentium)
is suseYOU perferrable? (automatic update)
