I think many people with ~128mb of RAM have problems with the graphical
install, it seems to want a little bit more. As Kevin suggests, try text
mode install if available, or a little bit more memory if you can find it.
Unfortunately the smallest machine I installed had 256MB, so I can't
comment on the memory threshhold.
