Thanks for the explanation Mark. I'll try downloading the nVidia drivers and
storing them somewhere safe - just in case. The kernel updates through YOU
have gone through without a hitch - so far (touches wood).

Just been upgraded by Telecom here, now running 2mbps DSL connection at
home, very comfortable.
