Question. If I want to do a manual install of a .rpm package,
do I need to do anything after the actual rpm command?
For example, whenever I install an update using yast and ftp,
after the successful download and install yast does a final
step where it does something like update the configuration
database.
So how is this handled when rpm is run from the command line?
Thanks.
