I'd tend to question that. I first started running scribus on SUSE 7.3
(of course, it was an early release) and now on 8.2. Go to the SUSE FTP
site and drill down to this dir:

   suse/i386/9.0/suse/i586

and you will find the RPM there for Scribus version 1.0.1.

Better yet, follow the directions for pointing YaST to the SUSE site for
your version and install that way, so YaST can resolve any dependencies.
