I haven't downloaded the latest player but I've always had to register
the development editions myself in Mozilla. If it comes in RPM format
now - I would have figured they'd take care of that, but apparently not.
Go to: Edit -> Preferences
and then expand the tree under: Navigator -> Helper Applications
(you have to click on the arrow beside the "Navigator" header if it
isn't already pointing "down" to see "Helper Applications."
Now click on the each of the appropriate file types you want registered
to Helix, verify that these are registered to the correct file
extensions (by looking and what is displayed in the Details part of the
dialog), and they click on the [Edit] button....
Now you can choose which application to use (it will be the same one you
would use if you were typing in the command at of the command prompt),
probably something like /usr/local/bin/realplay or whatever, wherever it
got installed.
