I found this easier to do by editing the ~/News/Score file directly (and
while Pan isn't running)
Add this BOS/EOS block and anything xposted to any advocacy group is
marked as ignored (you can use the 'Filter' menu to show the ignored posts
if you want):
%BOS
% Score added to dump any advocacy xposted crud
[^alt\.os\.linux\.suse$]
Score: =-9999
% Expires:
% Subject:
% From:
% References:
Xref: advocacy
