Thanks for the reply,I'll study you're post some more.
After I added a second download source in YaST, most of the programs I added
(including samba) were downloaded without asking for the cd.
Yes, all updates were installed.
The download edition is now history.
Because of microsoft,baystar,sco, and Groklaw (capitalizations are
intentional) I purchased SuSE Pro today, it is now time to start tweaking!
