Same here. There are TONS of various usability issues. I'm wondering
if it's a problem with the Qt release that SuSE packages... so many
people are glowing about this release, but in my experience it's been
riddled with bugs.
Here's my list:
- Launching the "Run Command" dialog always takes you back to the
desktop you first ran it on
- As you mentioned, the taskbar stops updating at times and needs
reloading
- Ditto with system tray
- Ditto with desktop pager
- KDE System Guard only starts on screen 2 of my Xinerama display
- All screensavers but blank screen and banner are gone
