    Same problems with SystemTray and Taskbar here.

    I have reset the entire kde configuration by removing the
    .kde directory in the home directory and configuring
    everything anew. No success by doing so...

    It seems that the problems do not exist when logging in as root.

    For the other users, the SystemTray and Taskbar can
    be removed and added after KDE has started.
    In this way, the Systemtray and Taskbar are
    at least working for the current session.

    I really hope that some bugfix will be available soon....
